In 2017 the biggest and the most modern bus station in Lithuania has been opened. A new station in Kaunas has a large waiting room, several ticket offices, luggage storage facilities, tourism agency and a cafe. Also an underground parking lot, supermarket “RIMI” and other small traders settled there. The whole station area has been renovated and a previously closed alley of Girstupio street has been reopened.
